Baking with Enzo

I am not a kitchen person but lockdown gave me a reason to try baking. I didn't expect to love and share it with Enzo. Hence, I could not bring myself to bake again knowing he is not around to do it with me. Baking was one of my many attempts to hang out and chat with him. The time we spent together in the kitchen helped me feel connected. And I love seeing him with so much enthusiasm. I remember him planning to take over his Ninong Boyet's bakery. He said he could be a CPA baker. We laughed at the thought of it. But now, he's baking a lot of goodies up there with his Ninong.

I found this video project in Business Math. The cake was not fancy but this reminded me of our happy times together. The cake was soft and fluffy. I enjoyed mine with a cup of coffee while he had his with a cup of jasmine green tea.
